Guatemalan architecture

Today's photos come from the historical town of Antigua in the country of Guatemala.  The town's authorities maintain strict rules so that all new construction has to be consistent with the older architecture of the town. Enjoy the little sneak peek!

Isn't Antigua beautiful with all those fountains, cobblestone streets, arches, cupolas, and faded colored stucco?  They even make security bars on the windows look charming!  Hope these images get you in a spring and summer frame of mind!
