I snapped this picture last summer during a local garden tour. I really like the bright purple of the chairs against the shady backdrop of ferns and hostas. This seems like such a relaxing place to sit!
Adirondack chairs in many colors are pretty easy to find in stores and online. Personally, I like all the colors and the relatively low price point at World Market, and they happen to be on sale right now. In addition to the regular-size chairs, they also have kid-size chairs and a children's picnic table set. Every time we go to the store my son wants to sit in these colorful chairs; maybe this year we'll get him one just his size!
